Looking for a little advice and/or your opinion...
It's October and the pumpkins are starting to make an appearance at the grocery stores. I'm looking to pick up one or two or more for some pumpkin carving. I've got a few ideas in my head and some I've picked up off the net as well as other creative ideas I've seen or read about.
The first design I'm sure on is a nice and "simple" Mona Lisa. What do you think?
Depending on how that goes I may or may not attempt a much more complicated Obama pumpkin. Which one should I attempt? 10 points to anyone who can come up with a clever combination of "Obama" and "pumpkin."
Lastly, I've never actually attempted this but I think this is the project I want to do with my younger siblings. I want to paint faces or designs on some pumpkins, maybe even the smaller pie pumpkins - the ones that are about 5" wide. Has anyone painted pumpkins before? What's the best paint for this project? Here are some examples.
So... advice? suggestions? ideas? warnings?
