I have a new schedule at work and it's totally changing everything about my eating, sleeping and blogging habits. I just started an evening shift and don't get home until after 11 p.m. every night. On the upside, I have weekends off. On the downside, I don't know which way is up.
Yesterday, I didn't wake up until about noon. After I got up and dressed, I didn't have much time for lunch and ended up eating a double dip ice cream cone from Braum's. I cooked spaghetti at one in the morning the night before. Today, all I've had is coffee. This new schedule has completely driven my appetite right off the tracks.
I'm giving myself two weeks to get adjusted. Two weeks and then I better be in some recognizable cycle of eating and sleeping.
Yesterday was better than the first day. Hopefully today will better than yesterday and tomorrow even better.
Is it just me or did that sound eerily like optimism?
Wow, this schedule really does have my world upside-down.
