RTB Recap - Sights from the Road

As with any proper road trip, sightseeing is a must. We made sure to take time to stop and check out some of the sights along Highway 81 as we made our way from Enid to Oklahoma City.

Check out a few of the pictures and even some video shot during the Road Trip Blogathon...

Here we are in Hennessey:

Recognize this guy?

And here we are stopping at the Walmart in Kingfisher -- birthplace of Mr. Walmart himself, Sam Walton.

This mural was one of my favorite stops. If you're ever in or passing through El Reno, take a second and find this gigantic mural from Public Arts Project 66 sitting on the side of the road. It's even cooler in person than it looks in the pictures. It's properly titled "Guardian of the Mother Road" and was a perfect photo opportunity for the RTB.

Big thanks to Kayla Joy Photography for embarking on this journey as the official photographer. It was no easy task setting up and photographing all of our stops but the results are amazing! There are even more recaps to come so keep tracking Follow Eric for more updates.

And don't forget about the next Blogathon coming up on December 3rd. Details on Facebook.
