Half-day, big day

For being a half-day at work, today was a big day for me.

Today marked the last time I sign off the phones at my job. It's sort funny because I never expected to last a year. Now it's three years later and I'm finally saying goodbye.

I've surprised myself by lasting this long but can honestly say I found myself well-suited for the job even with all the challenges of working in a call center. It's been a good job, a reliable income, and a source for friendships.

I started this job in February 2009, within a month of moving to Enid. It's been my only full-time job while I've lived here the last three years... and it'll be my last one here.

I'll be moving back to Albuquerque at the end of March.

Now before we start firing off questions, I'll just let you know right now that I don't know all the details and I'm not ready to share all of my plans. I'll tell you right now that it's nowhere near being the end of Follow Eric or the Blogathons or any of that.

If anything, expect more. I'll be expecting more of myself, too.

Here's to a new chapter, unwritten...
