Around Town - Cash Mob #5 at Peacecraft

Alright, so it may have been the fifth ABQ CashMob event but it's only the second one I've had a chance to participate in. Nonetheless, it's always a good time hanging with this local-lovin' crew.

This time around, we met up for lunch at Kelly's Brew Pub followed by our planned surprise visit to Peacecraft.

If you weren't aware (and I wasn't), all of Peacecraft's merchandise comes from either local artists or internationally imported through a Fair Trade process from artisans around the world. It's definitely a place worth checking out if you're in the Nob Hill area.

For my contribution, I bought three of these notecards featuring sketches of local hot spots in Nob Hill. I have a fourth at home and thinking about framing them together.

Altogether, ABQ CashMob spent $800 during our visit. That's great news for local business! I'm definitely looking forward to the next one.

Connect with ABQ CashMob on Facebook for future event information.

And check out Peacecraft on Facebook as well...
