Well now I can add getting a haircut at Laru Ni Hati to that list.
Officially, it is Laru Ni Hati Salon + Cuban Cafe, and for good reason. Besides a haircut, you can also enjoy coffee (I downed an espresso during my visit) and some Cuban fare. I'm definitely going to be back before my next haircut just to try their food menu.
You'll pay for the quality of the cut but you'll get the expertise of your stylist and a darn good cup of espresso if you're so inclined. My stylist, Dyan, was able to give me some tips for dealing with my balding hair and, for the first time in a long time, I left a salon without looking like my hair is completely thinned out.
It's always a good thing when you find a hair stylist who knows what they're doing and a great thing when they work out of a locally-owned shop.
If you're in the Nob Hill area, I suggest trying it out. If not for a trim then for their Cuban fare or coffee.
