Meals on Wheels - Rustic Food Truck

I haven't shared nearly enough food trucks with you guys. Not nearly enough. So let's correct that by introducing a new category to the blog: Meals on Wheels, a.k.a. Food Trucks.

One of the most reliable places to find a food truck in Albuquerque is in the parking lot of Talin Market at Central and Louisiana. And the best time is Wednesday lunchtime.

That's where I ran into Rustic Food Truck most recently. The first time I saw them was at the Local Food Festival & Field Day down at Hubbell House last weekend.

I was really glad to see Rustic in the lineup alongside a few other trucks serving up noontime passersby grabbing lunch.

I suggested -- no, more like commanded -- my friends to try "The Sacred" which was the burger I had down at Hubell House. They also ordered a deep fried hot dog dubbed "The Ripper." Both were good choices but I have got to recommend their burgers. They are as good as they look and they look incredible. See for yourself.

Make sure to follow them on Twitter and Facebook to find out where they're going to be next. And when you go, tell them Follow Eric sent you!
